Describe the value of the proposed Internship to the Intern:
The Intern will be given specific Goals and Objectives to ensure both a well-rounded educational experience and a feeling of accomplishment by the Intern at the conclusion of the summer. One of the unique aspects of our Summer Internship Program is the investment our senior leadership has in the program and the exposure the Intern will have to those members of our management team.

Description:
Finance interns are assigned to a mentor within the Corporate Finance Department and will have the opportunity to work on various projects and analyses relating to the financial and operating performance of DDR and industry peers. Finance interns will gain a solid understanding of real estate finance, capital markets, and investor relations, and will be expected to work on various ad hoc projects as needed by the Corporate Finance Department. Interns are encouraged to learn as much as possible about the Company and the various departments within the Company during their summer experience with us.

Expected daily work hours
40 hours per week.

How much will I get paid?
$10-$12 per hour based on education and experience

What is a typical day like?
The company prides itself on not being able to guarantee that any day at the company will be typical. The Intern should understand that the company maintains a professional work environment and that they will be provided the appropriate resources to accomplish the Goals and Objectives set forth for them. Each day will be a learning experience.

Skills required
The company is seeking students who have completed their sophomore or junior year in college. Students should be highly motivated and interested in commercial real estate and possess excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
