· Hands-on experience in a very-large mega program project life cycle.
· How to effectively work in a diverse multi-regional team environment.
· Mega project experience for both IT and business.
· PMO experience and skills (work planning, processes and structure).
· Experience with supporting the presentations and meetings revolving around key messaging and communications strategies to Executive level Sponsors, Steering Committee Executives and Senior Executives within Kaiser.
·They will also better understand the ICD-10 definition and mandate and the impact it has on health care.

Health Plan Business Technology Solutions and Services leads the ICD-10 Program.
The ICD-10 Program is a national mega program that impacts every region in our organization. The function of the ICD-10 Program is ICD-10 implementation and deployment for the enterprise.
PROJECTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.) Coordination and updates to ICD-10 Status reporting.
· Assist with collection and consolidation of the monthly status reporting.
· Also work with Executive Director and PMO to implement and roll out status reporting improvements.
· Assist with development of presentations, agenda's, meeting minutes and follow up items for the ICD-10: Work Group, Steering Committee and Executive Sponsor meetings.
· Assist and support the testing phase's preparation.
· Overall, have the opportunity to assist and contribute in a mega program system life cycle experience.
2.) An alternative project would be to assist the organizational readiness (OR) team.
· Our intern would support and assist with the planning and implementation of: broad based communications plan and strategy, scribing and meeting minutes of the training and OR meetings.
· Assist and support the OR team in executing the activities and tasks that will best prepare the organization for our ICD-10 implementation.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
College students pursuing a Bachelor's Degree. 3.0 GPA or above, Grad Students welcome to apply.
Academic students seeking professional training within a business corporate environment.
Analytical, relationship building, and interpersonal skills are essential.
Leadership potential.
Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Lotus Notes.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Students pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
Microsoft Project and Visio a plus.
