Description:

We are looking for several Interns that will be assigned to a technical project team in the summer of 2012. Interns will have an opportunity to work in a lab setting and be provided real world research and development product applications. Interns will be responsible for contributing to successful scale-up & implementation of new & reformulated products from the laboratory to manufacturing and will be exposed to performance testing on Protective & Marine Products to determine suitability for new applications in specific markets. Interns will have the opportunity in assisting in identifying unique or plant-specific limitations as well as providing support and ensuring completion of assigned architectural product development projects including formulation and performance testing.

Experience Required: This is an entry level internship program that requires coursework completed at the sophomore or junior year for chemistry or chemical engineering majors. Basic computer skills are required. Education Required: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or chemical engineering. Preferred candidates would be entering into the senior year of college for the designated majors. GPA required of 3.0.
